“Use your knowledge properly—for a cause and not for fame. Believe in God and take risks in achieving your desires and ambitions in life,” Marielle Gayem underscored in her gratitude speech during the Moving Up Ceremony on March 30, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Zamboanguita Gymnasium. Gayem topped the list of the 54 grade 10 completers. She got the first honors academic award aside from receiving gold medals in: Silliman University, English Award, Filipino Award, Mathematics Award, Science Award, Journalism Award, Service Award, Deportment Award, and Girl Scout of the Year Award. Marielle, as her friends call her, has been a consistent top placer since her elementary years. She is the only daughter of Mr. Jose Riel F. Asanuddin and Mrs. Marilyn Y. Gayem. She has proven her worth by garnering outstanding awards in the following competition: 2nd place in MTAP Orals, Division Level; 2nd place in Inter-High School ICT Quiz Bowl sponsored by Siliman University, 5th place in the DSPC Editorial Writing in Siaton, and a Joseph Rago awardee during the Media Festival 2015 at Dumaguete Cathedral Credit Cooperative (DCCCO), Dumaguete City on July 16-17, 2015. When asked what she felt about the rank she obtained, she humbly expressed that it was one of the many blessings she received from God. Ending her words with an inspiring line from an anonymous, she quoted, “Success depends on its second letter… it’s U!”

Thrill veils Prom 2016
Beautiful ladies in their stunning gowns and handsome gents in their dazzling tux captured the night at the Zamboanguita Municipal Gymnasium during the Prom 2016, A Night to Remember last February 24, 2016.
The night was worth treasuring by all the juniors and seniors as they entered the ball in their Processional March followed by the PTA officers, and the ZSHS faculty.
It started off with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem from a student of Grade 9-Elvinia, Ms. Christine Mae F. Elnas followed by an invocation rendered by Ms. Aziela L. Abobot of Grade 10-Elnar.
The ceremony was formally opened by John Ulric L. Eluna of Grade 9 Elvinia in his Words of Welcome. The Candle Lighting Ceremony was led by the GPTA President, Mr. Cresenciano P. Sevilleno, Mrs. Esther M. Villarin, the school head and the Grade 9 and Grade 10 Advisers.
The Turning Over ceremony continued the event. The Key of Responsibility from the seniors represented by Janine V. Bautista of Grade 10-Elnar was turned over to Julienne B. Cafino of Grade 9-Elvinia, The Book of Knowledge was handed down from Kaye A. Flores of Grade 10-Elnar to James D. Tumazar of Grade 9-Elvinia, and the Ring of Hope was passed on from Crysthel Dawn J. Aday of Grade 10-Elnar to Mary Joy V. Bautista of Grade 9-Elvinia.
Mr. Jairus S. Canchela led the Prayer before Meal to bless the food.
“You’re all transformed. You have become the gorgeous ladies and gentlemen displaying fine manners. This is a way of preparing yourselves in your future lives,” Mr. Sevilleno spoke before the juniors and seniors as the speaker of the night.
After the dinner, the Token Ceremony took place proceeded with the “Class History” narrated by Ms. Marie Raphelle T. Deloria of Grade 10-Elnar then the “Class Will and Testament” which was affirmed by Ms. Sheena Louise P. Nodado of Grade 10-Elnar followed by the Class Prophecy of Marielle Gayem.
Remarkable highlights of the night’s occasion were the Waltz, which was immediately followed by the “Songs to Remember”; Ms. Almira E. Gaer expressed her acknowledgment to formally express gratitude to the people behind the success of the event.
The night was flavored with excitement in the announcement of the night’s distinctive juniors and seniors. Ms. Karylle Louise F. Cafino got the Most Transformed Queen 2016 with Mr. Friddie Boy B. Elumbra as the Most Transformed King 2016; Mr. Mark Anthony B. Tubil and Ms. Crysthel Dawn J. Aday were the Mr. and Ms. Head Turner 2016 and finally, the proclaimed Prom King and Queen 2016 were Mr. Frank Jericho S. Declaro and Ms. Cheskha E. Limpahan.

SHS table tennis players join the Governor’s Back – to – School Sports
The ZSHS table tennis players joined Table Tennis Tournament in the Governor’s Back – to – school Sports last September 26 – 27, 2015 at the Negros Oriental Convention Center. The tournament was participated in by private and public elementary and secondary students in the province of Negros Oriental as well as in Dumaguete City. The ZSHS players were Dan Anthony C. Lu – ang and Dan Byron E. Deloria – Men’s Double and Michelle S. Ragay – Women’s Single. Other players were Niño Craig A. Pepito of Décor Carmeli Academy and Scemple John Flores of Jose Marie Locsin MHS for Men’s Singles and two players from the elementary. Mr. Ericson B. Elnar, their coach, said that the reason why they joined the said tournament is to prepare these players for the upcoming Negros Oriental Athletic Association Meet ( NORAA Meet ) this coming November, 2015. He also stressed that it is best to check your skills in playing the game by competing with other athletes from other districts as well as from other private schools in the province.

Having competed in the three congressional levels, five campus journalists of Zamboanguita Science High School advanced to the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) after having succeeded the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) last November 12-14, 2015. The winners were Sheena Louise P. Nodado, 1st place in Science and Tech-English, Jairus Canchela, 1st place in News Writing- Filipino, Marielle Gayem, 5th place in Editorial Writing-English), Nicole Angela Garcia, 5th place in Feature Writing-Filipino) and Dimara Eva Wagstaffe , 5th place in Photojournalism-English. The Regional Press tilt will be in Bogo City, Cebu on December 7-10, 2015 in consonance with the theme, “The Role of the 21st campus journalist in upholding good governance, leadership, and transparency.”

Rabor wins in 3rd Regional Diwang Sagisag Kultura
Arnold A. Rabor Jr. of Zamboanguita Science High School won in the 3rd Diwang Sagisag Kultura Regional Level on August 19, 2015. In the Division level done last August 7, 2015, Arnold A. Rabor Jr. garnered 7th place and Alyssandra Danielle A. Sebastian got the 8th place that made them qualified to proceed to the Regional level. The two Zascians were mentored by Ms. Fely C. Ege. They were accompanied at the Applied Nutrition Center, Cebu City to join competition. Out of 60 contestants, Rabor bagged the third place.

ZSHS champs in the Nutri - Jingle Contest
Selected students of Zamboanguita Science High School bagged the First Place in the Inter - High School Nutri - Jingle Contest held last July 24, 2015 at Zamboanguita Central Elementary School.
The contest was participated in by the four public high schools in Zamboanguita District, namely; Gregorio Elmaga Memorial HS, Jose Marie Locsin Memorial HS, Santiago Delmo Memorial HS and Zamboanguita Science High School.
The participants were Joshua James Puzon, Rowel Baylon, Frank Jericho Declaro, Levender Rabor, Arnold Tabor, Jr., Kaye Flores, Rhena Rodriguez, Sharmine Alarcio and Christine Lazaga with their coach Mr. Ericson B. Elnar.
According to Mr. Elnar they are going to do more practice in preparation for the Division Level which will be on July 30, 2015 at the Division Office.

Career Guidance 2015 hits ZSHS
“Where will you be going 10 years from now?”
Mrs. Edilberta T. de la Peña, the guest speaker threw the challenge during the Career Guidance Week 2015 last August 3 with the theme: “Follow the Guide Tag a Career, Like the Future.” The speaker, an LGU staff of Zamboanguita inspired the students in their career choice. “Happy person is the person who always brings his own sunshine wherever he goes and whatever the weather,” Mrs. De la Peña stressed.
Zascians were required to wear the outfit of their desired career in the event to showcase the program’s highlight—the search for Mr. and Ms. Career Day 2015.
Mr. Career Day 2015 was garnered by John Ulric L. Eluna and Daiserie T. Davad was Ms. Career 2015 as announced by Mrs. Ma. Ligaya Cielo S. Ragay, the Career Guidance Designate.

School hails new teachers
Zamboanguita Science High School hailed new teachers for the school year 2015-2016. Ms. Ana Melissa Venido, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education major in Filipino and a guest instructor in Negros Oriental State University (NORSU)-Main Campus I, Dumaguete City for two years came on July 21, 2015. Ms. Mary Cris Trupa, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education major in English at Northern Bukidnon Community College and Mr. Ruel T. Faburada, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education major in Math at NORSU started teaching on October 7, 2015. Ms. Nemie R. Gallardo, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Colegio San Agustin in Bacolod City, a crash courser of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education major in Science at NORSU-Dumaguete and a clinical instructor of NORSU-Bais City for three years was welcomed on October 8, 2015. Presently, a total of 17 made up the teaching force of ZSHS.

Deloria off to Palarong Pambansa
Slash after slash Arwin Deloria - a freshman of Zamboanguita Science HS - garnered the gold medal in the Wushu competition of the Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association ( CVRAA ) held in Balamban, Cebu on February 24 to March 2. The whole school was proud of him especially his coach Mr. Reynaldo S. Banua. ` At the age of 12, Arwin ventured the path of Wushu and luckily, he won in CVRAA considering that his opponents were all disqualified. In an interview, Arwin said " I jog every day, good lifestyle and eat the right food in order to gain the right weight for the preparation of the fight. I never thought that I would win because my opponents were very robust. My parents kept me going through". In May this year, Deloria will ascend into Palarong Pambansa.

Davad bags gold in Oration
Davies T. Davad, senior student, was the Champion of the first ever 2014 Anti - Drug Advocacy Oratorical Contest sponsored by DepEd Negros Oriental at Silliman University on November 22, 2014 with the theme: " Drug Thrills But Kills."
Davad and his coach, Ms. Marivic P. Flores, together with 12 other contestants from different high schools in the province and in Dumaguete City stepped into the hall.
" I was so nervous knowing that there were 13 of us and much more the other contestants come from well - known private schools, " Davad said.
The contest was a circle of tough competitors of which Davad topped them all receiving Php 5000 as the cash prize for the First Placer.

ZSHS Opens the Nutrition Month Celebration 2014and National Disaster Consciousness Month
The Zamboanguita Science High School welcomed the Month of July with two simultaneous events: Nutrition Month and National Disaster Consciousness Month Celebrations last July 4, 2014. The celebrations were themed: “ Kalamidad Paghandaan, Gutom at Malnutrisyon Agapan” and “ Kahandaan at Kaligtasan ng Pamayanan, Pundasyon ng Kaunlaran”, respectively.
The events started with a parade at 2:30 in the afternoon, led by the ZSHS Band under the baton of Mr. Ericson B. Elnar. All the students also accompanied the parade, presenting their creatively – made masks, sun visors, posters and slogans. After the parade, the Zascians then proceeded to the program proper.
As one of the highlights of the events, a fire drill demonstration was introduced to the students by SFO4 Rufo Entea from the Bureau of Fire Protection of Zamboanguita. He discussed about the fire drill and let all the Fourth Year students performed it. The main goal of the activity was to engage the young minds of the students to be aware on how to be prepared when calamities strike in our place.
The following activities which were also involved in the program were the Poster and Slogan Contest, Sun Visor Making and Maskara Making.

Alumna Speaks on Moving Up
Everon Joy P. Catanus, an alumna from the pioneering batch of Zamboanguita Science High School, was the guest speaker during the school’s moving up ceremony on March 30, 2016 at the Zamboanguita Gymnasium. Catanus was introduced by no less than one of the pioneer teachers of ZSHS, Mrs. Luzviminda E. Abejero who declared that as a student she was an achiever. Among her remarkable achievements were the following: a Dean’s List awardee for three consecutive years and in her senior year, she was a Presidential Academic Awardee. She was also a recipient of Dr. Joel Limson Achievement Award, an ABS-CBN scholar for two years during her third year and fourth year at Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) and awarded the ABS-CBN Medal of Excellence Award, a feature and news writer of the school publication, the secretary of the English Aficionados Community of NORSU and at the same time the PIO of the Scholars Federation for one school year. She graduated this year as Magna Cum Laude with the degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education-Major in English at Negros Oriental State University. Everon Joy is the second child of Pastor Ronnie Catanus and Evelyn Catanus.

2 buildings, under construction
The two school buildings undergo an ongoing construction for the Senior High School (SHS) implementation of Zamboanguita Science High School.
A two storey four-classroom building started its construction last July 14, 2015. The construction of the other one storey two-classroom building started last March 1, 2016. With the total cost of Php 9,893,090.45, the construction of the two school buildings implemented by DPWH, 3rd Engineering District of the province will support the opening of the school’s SHS in the school year 2016- 2017.
“This aids in fulfilling the school’s focused academic track—STEM or Science and Technology, Engineering and Mathematics,” Mrs. Esther M. Villarin, the school head added.

ZSHS turns seven
Zamboanguita Science High School celebrated its 7th founding anniversary on January 29-30, 2016.
The celebration rolled with various activities such as the Floor dance competition, Family Fun Day and the most highlighted event, Ms. ZSHS 2016.
The program launched with a colourful parade, joined in by DCA band, floats of the pageant candidates with the respective floor dance contestants wearing their distinct coloured shirts, the float of the reigning Ms. ZSHS 2015, the parents, alumni, and the ZSHS faculty. The parade started at ZSHS’s school ground and proceeded at the Municipal Gymnasium in the afternoon of the first day of the celebration. The event started with the singing of the Lupang Hinirang, sung by Rhena Mae E. Rodriguez of Grade 8- Elloren and an invocation by Wella Laine R. Escorial of Grade 8- Partosa.
The Floordance competition was graced by Hon. Glenson E. Alanano as the guest speaker. He shared inspiring words for students to strive harder and to be responsible individuals whom he addressed in relation to the theme: “Continuing Legacy for Beauty and Responsibility.” The competition was joined by each section from Grades 7 to 10. The first place was garnered by Grade 8- Partosa, second place went to the Grade 9- Elvinia and the third place was obtained by Grade 10- Flores. In the evening, the most awaited part of the celebration—Ms. ZSHS 2016 was graced by Hon. Kit Marc B. Adanza. “The candidates are transformed and they truly captured the spotlight,’’ Hon. Adanza expressed during the pageant night. He also made mention of the students on how they performed as science high students and how the school improved through the years.
The pageant was participated by the selected student from each section. Grade 7-Baylon had Marie Cris G. Parao, Grade 7-Venido had Phoebe Rose Ann C. Fernandez, Grade 8-Partosa had Daiserie T. Davad, Grade 8-Elloren had Rhea Mae V. Luyao, Grade 9-Elvinia had Chrisha Mae B. Lajot, Grade 10- Elnar had Rosemelita A. Catalonia and Grade 10-Flores had Maica I. Eluna. Maica I. Eluna seized the limelight in the pageant night as she was crowned Ms. ZSHS 2016. Rhea Mae V. Luyao became the first runner-up winner and Daiserie T. Davad got the second runner-up award.
Minor awards: People’s Choice, Best in Fantasy Costume, Best in Talent, Best in Gown, Best Speaker, Face of the Night, Darling of the Crowd, Photogenic, and Best in Production Number were all garnered by Maica I. Eluna. Marie Cris G. Parao got the Professionalism Award, Chrisha Mae B. Lajot obtained the Body Beautiful Award, Rhea Mae V. Luyao had the Social Media Award, and Congeniality Award went to Phoebe Rose Ann C. Fernandez.

The Zamboanguita District ranked third in the Overall Medal Tally for Sports in the recently concluded Palarong NegOr 2015 held in Dumaguete City last November 19 - 24, 2015. Zascians salute Teachers’ Day
“Happy Teacher’s Day!” Zascians stressed as they salute the teachers of Zamboanguita Science High School last October 2, 2015. The program commenced with the giving of cards and flowers to the teachers and offering their songs and jingles, followed by the surprise number of the teachers and games like Maria went to town and Balloon Popping.. The students shocked the teachers as they impersonated them, one by one in “Your Face Sounds My Teacher”. The program ended with the Kamayan (sharing of foods and eating with bare hands) in every classroom as thanksgiving to them.

Zascians triumph in 2015 District LAS
Zamboanguita Science High School triumphed in the District Language Arts Show on September 24, 2015 with the theme: “Celebrating Multilingualism for Common Understanding.” Five high schools competed in this event: Décor Carmeli Academy (DCA), Gregorio Elmaga Memorial High School (GEMHS), Jose Marie Locsin Memorial High School (JMLMHS), Santiago Delmo Memorial High School (SDMHS), and Zamboanguita Science High School (ZSHS). This event was hosted by Décor Carmeli Academy. It was a triumphant and blissful day for ZSHS as they garnered many awards in different categories. Robeth Banua notched first place in the Spelling Bee, Marielle Gayem bagged gold in the Extemporaneous Speech, Arnold Rabor Jr. and Wella Laine Escorial garnered first place in the Vocal Duet, Sheena Louise Nodado placed first in the Talumpating Di-Handa and ZSHS championed in the Speech Choir competition with school’s selected students mentored by Mr. Ericson B. Elnar. The school got the second place in Pagsasadula ng Epiko with selected Grade 9 students mentored by Ms. Ana Melissa Venido, Vocal Solo English performed by Geraldine Cabañog, Oratorical delivered by Almira Gaer, and Poster making contest participated by John Ryan Jumawan and Pagsulat ng Sanaysay by Jairus Canchela ; and lastly, 3rd place in Balagtasan contested by Crysthel Dawn Aday, Marie RaphelleDeloria, and Jairus Cachela, Vocal OPM Solo won by Aziela Abobot , Talumpating handa represented by Mary Joy Bautista and Essay Writing obtained by Raphelle T. Deloria. The champions proceeded in the Congressional level on November 5, 2015 in Bacong, Negros Oriental.

ZSHS hits gold on ICT Quiz Bowl
Selected fourth year students: Krizia Elnas, Darlene Tubil, Davies Davad and Quenie Alaton proved their mettle aqnew by becoming the champions in the Digital ICT Quiz Bowl of Foundation University Expo held at Foundation University Main Campus and Robinson's Place Dumaguete City last February 24, 2015. " Teamwork is really an essential factor to win in the competition. It's better not to expect too much at first, just do your best for at the end of the hard work is an overflowing happiness," Darlene and Krizia said. Davies Davad and Quenie, team A, qualified for the first round which made Darlene and Krizia, team B, advanced to the last round. During the last round, team B topped among the 10 pairs of contestants from the different national high schools and science high schools in the province of Negros Oriental.

ZSHS Staffers qualify to RSPC
Four of the Zamboanguita Science HS staffers namely: Sheena Louise Nodado, Krizia Elnas, Krishia Joy Elumir and Jairus Canchela qualified to the Regional Schools Press Conference which will be held in Bayawan City, Negros Oriental on December 14 - 17, 2014.
Last November 14 - 15, 2014 was the scheduled Division Schools Press Conference held in Zamboanguita. Campus journalists and school paper advisers from other districts came here for the said competition.
Fortunately, four of the Zamboanguita Science HS students won in the said competition. These students were: Sheena Louise Nodado: First Place in News Writing English; Krizia Elnas: Second Place in Copy Reading and Headline Writing Filipino; Krishia Joy Elumir: Fourth Place in Science and Technology Writing English and Jairus Canchela: Fifth Place in Science and Technology Writing Filipino.
Zamboanguita District reaps Second Runner Up in the NORAA MEET
Zamboanguita District reaped second runner - up during the 2014 NORAA Meet on November 20 - 24 held in Dumaguete City.
The officials, coaches, as well as the athletes of Zamboanguita District were already excited to expose their skills and prowess when it comes to sports and cultural presentations.
The Zamboanguita Delegation arrived in Dumaguete City on November 19, 2014 and billeted at Negros Oriental HS.
An opening Mass at NOHS followed immediately by a parade and an opening program. In the afternoon, all the games started which ended in November 24 in the morning.
In the afternoon of November 24, 2014 a closing program was held at Lamberto Macias Sports Complex. The Zamboanguita Elementary Level ranked Fourth Place in the overall tally. While the Zamboanguita Secondary Level garnered Third Place.

Zamboanguita Science HS athletes garnered gold, silver and bronze medals during the Negros Oriental Athletic Association Meet last November 20 - 24, 2014 in Dumaguete City.
Bruce Wane Abadilla won the 9 - Ball, single and double matches, Michael Angelo Jumao - as won first place in swimming, freestyle relay, Hilary Yvonne Oro and Cheskha Limpahan also represented in Badminton singles. Lojie Kuizon, Reanne Eve Alivio and Lahlaine Kaye Noval triumphed in Table Tennis - Girls Secondary double and single matches.

Joy, peace fill the hearts of Zascians
Christmas atmosphere and joy filled the air as teachers and students were one as they celebrated and participated in the various Christmas presentations on December 17, 2014 at the school grounds.
A short program was held in the afternoon where different numbers were presented by the different sections and year levels.
Aside from the different presentations, there were also contests such as making indigenous Christmas tree, Group Dance Competition, and Dance Showdown.
The Most Indigenous Christmas Tree was won by the Grade 7-Baylon who also bested in the Group Dance Competition. Jester Apao, Grade 7-Banua, won in the Dance Showdown.
Classroom party and giving of gifts followed. It was a joyous affair, everybody excited, and looked forward to that big day, The Christmas Day.

LGU - Zambo sponsors Nutrition Month Celebration
The Local Government Unit of Zamboanguita sponsored the Nutrition Month Closing Program last July 28, 2014 participated in by all the schools in Zamboanguita including the different local agencies.
The program was held at the Municipal Gymnasium and there were lots of contests in which the Zamboanguita Science High School joined. There was an Inter – Elementary and Inter – High School Nutri Jingle Contest, Inter – Elementary and Inter – High School Poster Making Contest, A1 Child for Elementary and Cooking Contest for other agencies.
Zamboanguita Science High School got second in the Poster Making Contest and Champion in the Nutri - Jingle Contest. The school’s contestant in the Poster Making Contest was John Ryan Jumawan and in the Nutri Jingle Contest were Marlon Nicho Ferrero, Japeth John Partosa and Joshua James Puzon.

Nutrition month culmination lives on
The Zamboanguita Science HS culminated Nutrition Month on July 31, 2014 leaving a lasting imprint in the hearts of all Zascians.
The month - long celebration ended with various activities and contests.
The Quiz Bee was participated in by the manner of one group represented by a representative from every section. The champion of the Quiz Bee was Group 2 – Jayson Frallon (4th yr ), James Tumazar (G8 ), Jane Anne Therese Eluna (G9) and Kaila Enolpe (G7). The Second Placer was Group 7 – Marisol Delfino (4th yr ), Reymond Ramos (G9), Krisha Joy Elumir (G8) and Allyssa Jay Enolpe (G7). The Third Placer was Goup 4 – Lojie Kuizon ( 4th Yr ), Marie Raphelle Deloria ( G9 ), Julienne Cafino ( G8 ) and Arnold Rabor ( G7 ).
The last part of the event was the Feeding Program in which each section prepared nutritious menus. The parents helped in the preparation and distribution the food to the students.

Four ZSHS studes pass DOST scholarship exam Four of the ZSHS students of batch 2014 passed the DOST - SEI scholarship grant examination held in Dumaguete City on October 21, 2013.
The students are as follows: Elemar D. Abuso, Jaymar M. Tuble, Geneva C. Lu-ang and Maypaz P. Catanus.
Currently, these students are enjoying the benefits of the said scholarship program in their chosen courses.

Art work contest culminates Education Week Celebration
Zamboanguita Science High School, in celebration with Education Week conducted a series of related activities highlight of which is the Art work contest which includes Papier mache sculpture, collage making, and poster-making.
Each year level and section must have only one contestant. These different art works must illustrate, interpret ,and emphasize the theme of the Education Week celebration which is “Choice, Change and Community: The Responsibility of the K to 12 Basis Education Program.”
The posters were judged according to the following the criteria: creativity and presentation - 40% , originality -30%, relevance to the theme- 30%.
Criteria for the collage include originality – 30%, relevance to the theme 30%, symbolism/visual impact – 20% creativity -20%.
Papier mache sculpture is based on design, form, painting, and craftsmanship.
Zamboanguita Science High School students posed as Library Hub book characters paraded around Zamboanguita on November 26, 2014 to culminate Reading Month celebration with the theme, “Nasa Pagbasa ang Pag-asa.”

There’s A Duwende In My Brother’s Soup. Each section produced their own set-up
with their own decorated tricycle. In line with the said event, ZSHS also conducted different contests such as Declamation, Oral Reading, Story Telling, and Silent Reading Comprehension.

ZSHS advocates mangrove planting activity
Zamboanguita Science High School, together with Ali Silva, US Peace Corps volunteer, initiated tree planting activity on August 2, 2014 at Latason, Mayabon, Zamboanguita, Negros Oriental.
Approximately 200 hundred kulasing - puti and bakauan bankau seedlings were planted along the swamp area of the said barangay.
" Obtaining one mission in the act of volunteerism, holding one advocacy in the view of optimism and taking one task in the sense of environmentalism make this event a successful one," Ali Silva said.
